Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (abbr. SIMIT) was founded in 1928, in which the Chinese State Key Lab of Transducer Technology was built in 1987. The State Key Lab is one of the largest research centers on MEMS and transducer technologies in China and Asia. There are 12 professors, tens of staff researchers (including post-doc), tens of graduate students and more than 20 technical engineers, are working together to output both academic and application oriented achievements. Equipped with advanced facilities for wafer-fab, microsystem-packaging and test/characterization, the lab cleanroom of 2100m2 both supports internal research and satisfies external needs all over the world.
